Professor i bibelresepsjon og tidligkristen litteratur.  Leder av forskergruppen Koptiske tekster og manuskripter. Leder ERC CoG-prosjektet "Storyworlds in Transition: Coptic Apocrypha in Changing Contexts in the Byzantine and Early Islamic Periods" (APOCRYPHA) (2020-2025). Tidligere leder for ERC StG-prosjektet "New Contexts for Old Texts: Unorthodox Texts and Monastic Manuscript Culture in Fourth- and Fifth-Century Egypt" (NEWCONT) (2012-2016).

Faglige interesser
