Support for Trump amongst Christian voters has been unwavering through three election cycles, and political allegiances have shifted the make-up of the American evangelical coalition. This presentation will bring to light the ways that gender, politics, race, faith, myth, and celebrity all play a role in why so many white American evangelicals are so enamoured by Trump and his vision for America.
