Faglige interesser

Min primære faglige interesse er gammeltestamentlig religion i dens kulturelle og historiske kontekst. Jeg er særlig interessert i kult og ritualer, så som ofre og offergaver, og i ritualiserede sociale praksisser, så som gavegivning, gjestfrihet og måltidspraksis. Mine aktuelle projekter drejer sig om materialitet og sensualitet i gammeltestamentlig religion og om måltider og gjestfrihet i det gamle testamente og i middelhavsområdet i oldtiden.

Bakgrunn

I perioden fra 2011 til 2019 var jeg ansat som adjunkt (2011-2013), professor med særlige opgaver (2013-2018) og lektor (2018-2019) i Det Gamle Testamente ved det Teologiske Fakultet, Københavns Universitet, DK.

Jeg har en ph.d. i Det Gamle Testamentes eksegese også fra Københavns Universitet (2011).

Jeg har været på længere forskningsophold ved Georg-August Universität i Göttingen (2013-2014 og 2018) og ved universitetet i Helsinki (2016).

Samarbeid

  • Siden 2018: Koordinator for OTSEM netværket, et netværk dannet af forskere i Det Gamle Testamente fra 16 nordeuropæiske universiteter. Formålet med OTSEM er at styrke den gammeltestamentlige forskning ved at fremme kontakt, samarbejde og udveksling.
  • Siden 2018: Medlem af forskningsnetværket Measuring Value and Accomodating the Gods: Abstracting from the Material in Ancient Cultures, funded by the Independent Research Council Denmark, Directed by Professor Jan Dietrich, Aarhus University.
  • Siden 2017: Ekstern samarbejdspartner, Centre of Excellence in Ancient Near Eastern Empires, funded by the Academy of Finland, Directed by Dr. Saana Svärd, Helsinki University.
