About the project

Tool for the Analysis of Information Transfer in Manuscript Cultures (TInTraMaC) was an ERC Proof of Concept (PoC) project in digital humanities based on the methodology developed in the ERC Consolidator Grant (CoG) project APOCRYPHA. It aimed to create a flexible, low-threshold, and user-friendly research tool for any scholar studying the transfer of texts, ideas, or any other information, in handwritten textual corpora.

Objectives

The TInTraMaC research tool was designed to help facilitate future projects in a wide range of fields by developing a tool that could drastically reduce the time and costs involved in developing research databases from scratch and implementing sophisticated digital analytical tools.

Outcome

The TInTraMaC research tool was the major planned outcome of the project. It can be downloaded from the project's main page.

Financing
