Academic interest

My main field of interest is the Jewish minority in Norway. In my research, I am particularly interested in young Jew’s experiences with how Jewish culture, religion, and history are presented and approached in different contexts, emphasizing upper secondary school. Also, I am looking into how their experiences, especially from school, have impacted their understanding of Judaism and their own Jewish identity.

Background

I earned my master's degree in religious education in 2019 at MF Norwegian School of Theology, Religion and Society. I began as a doctoral research fellow at The Faculty of Theology in 2024. Before transitioning into academia, I was an elementary school teacher for 13 years.
