The module in university pedagogics is only available for the Faculty of Theology’s doctoral research fellows, not externally-funded PhD candidates. The module is strongly recommended for anyone who does not have an equivalent qualification and is planning a career in higher education. Doctoral research fellows who do not wish to take this module must instead take more discipline and thesis-specific courses. The module is offered in collaboration with the subject area for university pedagogics at the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
The mainstay of the offer is Uniped’s module in university pedagogics, with a stipulated length of 100 hours. This consists of:
a) one compulsory module (50 hours)
b) elective modules (50 hours)
Candidates are responsible for enrolling with the Faculty of Education Sciences. Participants are required to teach during the course period. Participation must therefore be coordinated with required duties in the form of teaching.
