The Bible in Norwegian Politics: The Divisive Book

The research project Good Protestant, Bad Religion? Formatting Religion in Modern Society invites to its first seminar of the year, on the use of the Bible in political discourse in Norway. Ole Jakob Løland is a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Theology, and has written extensively on the intersections of religion and politics. His writings (mainly in Norwegian) can be accessed at his blog.

His presentation will be commented by Helge Årsheim, Post-Doctoral Research Fellow affiliated to the GOBA project. The seminar is open for everyone.
