It is two years since the inauguration of Donald as the president of the United States. Trump got electoral support from an overwhelming majority of white evangelical Christians. How could these groups of Evangelical Christians embrace Trump’s candidacy? How is the alliance between the president and these Christian groups manifested? Is Trump a Christian president?

Randall J. Stephens recently took up the chair at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Oslo, as associate professor in American and British studies. He is an expert on the recent history of American Evangelicalism.
