Prof. Musa W. Dube is an Associate Professor at the University of Botswana, where she has taught Biblical Studies in the Dept. of Theology and Religious Studies. Dr. Dube has also served as a HIV/AIDS and theological consultant for churches and theological institutions of Africa, training theological lecturers and church leaders to mainstream HIV/AIDS and gender issues in their programs. Her research and writing is focused on postcolonial feminist interpretations of the Bible, which explores feminist ways of reading the Bible without colonizing the other. For the 2010-11 academic year she was appointed visiting professor in Religious Studies at the Union Theological Seminary in New York.
