New Master's course Spring 2014

In addition to the courses already announced for the Spring semester there will be yet another course taught in English for you to choose from here at The Faculty of Theology. We will return with more detailed information about the course in Januray.

From May 21 to May 30 2014 there will be a course on Religon, Migration and Citizenship on the Texan-Mexican border in the US. Responsible from Oslo faculty will be professor Trygve Wyller and PhD student Kaja Schultz Rønsdal. The course, a 10 ECTS course, is a cooperation with professor Daisy Machado at Union Theological Seminary, New York. There will be places for four (4) Master students from TF, along with a group of students from Union Theological Seminary. A full program will be announced around New Year. The Faculty of Theology plans to cover the expenses for plane tickets, and the students must themselves cover expenses in regards to food and lodging. Estimated sum will be around $500.

The course will be open to all applicants, but students who also take Diak 4223 will have preference. Curse responsible will have the final say in who will be admitted . If you plan on applying for this course, please be aware that the trip is planned during a time when a lot of finals and exams are held. Please make sure that you are not registered for other courses with an exam in this period when you apply for the course. More information  will be announced early January.
