Module in University Pedagogics (Uniped)
5 credits = about. 140 hours workload
The module in University pedagogics is offered to doctoral research fellows at the Faculty of Theology in collaboration with the scholarly group for University Pedagogics, the Faculty of Education, and the Practical Theological Seminar (PTS).
The mainstay of the offer is Uniped’s module in University Pedagogics, stipulated at 100 hours. This consists of:
a) An obligatory module (50 timer)
b) Optional modules (50 timer).
As a possible optional module within the Uniped offer, PTS has for the period of 2007-2010 received approval for a 25 hour course called practical work forms. This course consists in an scholarly-didactic paper and/or teaching design, as well as teaching practice at the Faculty of Theology (stipulated at 40 hours). The paper and/or teaching design is approved by the supervisor or by the particular teaching course’s leader.
The module in University pedagogics is strongly recommended for any not already in possession of an equivalent training and who envisage a further career in higher education. Research fellows not wishing to take this module must instead take a greater number of discipline and dissertation specific course.
